About Carmen Pena
Hello! My name is Carmen, and I’m the proud owner of Wonderful Beginnings Childcare. I’m a mother of three amazing children — a 14-year-old daughter, a 9-year-old son, and our youngest who is 5 years old. Caring for children has always been a passion of mine, and opening my daycare nearly four years ago was truly a dream come true.I hold an associate credential in Child Development (CDA), along with certifications in First Aid and CPR. I’m currently completing my degree in Early Childhood Education and will be graduating next spring — a milestone I’m incredibly excited about!What brings me the most joy is creating a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where children can grow, learn, and feel valued. I believe every child deserves a strong and wonderful beginning, and I’m honored to play a part in that journey. Watching little ones develop confidence, curiosity, and joy is a gift I never take for granted. At Wonderful Beginnings, your child isn’t just enrolled — they’re welcomed like family.

Our program follows a responsive and flexible curriculum that supports each child’s growth, interests, and developmental needs. As a licensed Family Child Care provider, we ensure every day includes:
